Return policy

First of all, thanks for choosing moonbird. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, no worries, we're here to help.

I. Returns of physical products

You have 30 calendar days to return a physical product from the date you received it. This applies to the moonbird device, moonbuddy, charging stand, travel case, sleep mask, and other reusable accessories. For single-use items (e.g. nose strips, mouth strips) and app subscriptions, see the specific sections below. To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be undamaged and in the original state, that is the same condition in which you received it.
  • Your item must be in the original, undamaged packaging.
  • Your item also needs to have the receipt, order number or proof of purchase with a date.
  • You must contact the moonbird support team and inform us within 30 days after you have received your product.
  • A photo is always helpful.

We do not accept exchanges and/or returns for any opened or used single-use items (e.g. nose strips, mouth strips). These sales are final and non-refundable, except in cases where the product is damaged or defective. To be eligible for an exchange on a damaged item, you must first email us (hello@moonbird.life) within 7 days of receiving the product with a photo showing the damage on the product.

When you buy a bundle or multi-item offer (for example, "buy 2, get 1 free" or a family pack with 20% off), the discount applies only when you keep the full bundle. If you return part of the bundle, the discount will no longer apply, and your refund will be adjusted so that the items you keep are charged at their normal price. This ensures our bundle offers apply to the full bundle, and do not apply when products are purchased separately. In case items are lost or incomplete, we cannot reimburse you.

To return your purchase, please send us an email at hello@moonbird.life and inform us about the reason for the return.

II. Refunds for physical products

Once we receive your item(s), we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. In case items are lost, damaged or incomplete we cannot reimburse you. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment within 30 calendar days. The time it takes for the refund to appear depends on your payment provider.

III. App subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

The moonbird breathing coach app is free to use with basic features. Premium features require a paid subscription (monthly or yearly).

If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you receive a 7-day free premium trial after entering your payment details. You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin.

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, cancellation and any refund requests are handled through your App Store or Play Store account settings, in accordance with Apple's or Google's refund policies. Moonbird does not process payments or refunds for in-app purchases made through these platforms.

IV. Returning a device with one-year premium access to the app (bundle)

If you purchased a bundle that includes both a device and app access through our website (e.g. device + 12-month premium via moonbird.life), you have 30 calendar days to return the full bundle, including the app access. If you return only the device but keep the app access, your refund will be adjusted so that the app subscription is charged at its full standalone price instead of discounted bundle price.

V. Shipping

moonbird will send you a free return shipping label to return your item.
